Privacy Policy

This policy covers the personal information we handle through pulsekaki.com. We collect the minimum needed to reply to you and run the site. We do not sell or rent it.

1. What we collect

What you give us

• Enquiries. Your name, email address, company, the topic you select and whatever you write in your message.
• Correspondence. A record of what we have discussed, so we can follow up properly.

What is collected automatically

• Server logs. Our hosting provider processes limited technical data — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request — for security, reliability and delivery of the site.

The site self-hosts its fonts and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not ask for sensitive personal information, and you should not send any.

2. Why we use it

• to reply to you and discuss the work you are asking about;
• to operate, secure and improve the site;
• to meet our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects for you.

3. Our basis for using it

Where data protection law applies to you, we rely on: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time; our legitimate interests in answering enquiries and running the business securely; the performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one; and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Who we share it with

• Service providers. Vendors who help us run the site and the business — hosting and email, for example — acting on our instructions and bound by confidentiality.
• Legal and safety. Where required by law, regulation or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of PulseKaki, our clients or others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

5. Where it is stored

Our providers may process and store information in countries other than the one you live in. Where information crosses a border, we take steps to keep it protected in line with this policy and applicable law.

6. How long we keep it

Only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for — replying to and following up on your enquiry — plus any period we are required to keep records for legal, accounting or reporting reasons. After that we delete or anonymise it.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse and alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Anything you send us over the internet, you send at your own risk.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may be able to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
• ask us to delete your information;
• object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing;
• ask us to transfer information you gave us to someone else;
• withdraw consent where we rely on it.

9. Cookies

The site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Any cookie that is set is strictly necessary for the site to work. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where it is required.

10. Our products and other sites

Orbit and CaloHub have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them. This policy does not cover them, or any other site we link to.

11. Children

The site is intended for businesses and professionals, not children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The date above shows when it last changed, and material changes will be highlighted on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
